Nifty down by 0.33%, PSUBank down by 4.84%

Today on 6th May, Nifty opened at 24500.75 marginally up from yesterday's close but lost the gain in first hour itself.  The NSE index didn't recovered in the entire day and finally closed near day's low at 24739.60.

Sensex also started with marginal gains to start with and lost the gains subsequently finally closing at 80641.07 down by 0.19%.

Adani enterprises, Zomato and Jio financial services were biggest losers among the nifty stocks with losses of 4.13%, 3.03% and 3.61% respectively while Heromotocorp with the gains of 2.88% was the biggest gainers among the nifty stocks.

Among sectoral indices PSU bank and Realty were biggest losers which closed 4.84% and 3.58% below yesterday's close. Nifty auto was only sectoral index to close in green.
